BLOOM365 invites young people and the trusted adults in their lives to join us on Saturday, October 2nd from 9 AM to 5 PM for our First Annual Youth Summit on Sexual Violence Prevention at the Glendale Civic Center.

This highly interactive summit is designed for young leaders ages 14 - 24 who are interested in creating change within their communities in order to build a culture of consent for all. 

BLOOM365 Lead Peer Advocates will facilitate conversations and learning sessions on communication, conflict resolution, coping skills, and how to promote consent culture in youth spaces.

Community partners are invited from 11:30 PM to 1:30 PM to join the luncheon and awards presentation to honor our 2021 Lead Peer Advocate and Trusted Adult Ally of the Year.

A panel of diverse young people will discuss how sexual violence presents itself in their lives and how it affects them in their communities. 

A special track  will be held for parents/caregivers and other trusted adults on how to recognize and respond to teen sexual violence, as well as ways to keep the conversation going long after the summit. 

The day will include a resource fair, networking opportunities, and raffle giveaways!

This is a FREE EVENT with breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided!
