GEN Z Peer Advocate Academy
The Peer Advocate Academy is open to
all Gen Z youth ages 13-19
Teens from across the globe are coming together to develop, refine, practice and share ideas and solutions to prevent domestic violence, sexual violence and teen dating violence at the root causes.
You will leave this 3-Day Academy as an inspired, informed and trained BLOOM365 Peer Advocate ready to:
Amplify your voice, experience, and influence to help #UprootAbuse.
Educate, advocate and activate with your peers to prevent violence in your school and/or community.
Change the social norms that promote and normalize gender-based violence.
Activate your peer to peer influence to #UprootAbuse in Gen-Z,
Gen-Alpha and beyond!
Partner with trusted adult allies to recognize and remove the help seeking barriers faced by friends and/or peers who are witnessing, experiencing or causing domestic violence, sexual violence, teen dating violence, and/or gender-based violence.
One of our 2019 Academy attendees shared this about her experience:
“Having the opportunity to educate my friends through the 7-Doses has helped me form deeper connections with my peers and made me more aware of the hidden issues plaguing teens.”
Another 18-year-old shared:
“I chose to be a Lead Peer Advocate in order to activate and amplify the voices of my peers to create a future that supports healthy masculinity, free of sexual violence.”
