Domestic violence awareness month
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impacts of domestic violence, support survivors, and spark conversations.
On Friday, October 7, 2022, BLOOM365 student peer advocates and adult allies will host "First Friday" campaigns in their schools, workplaces and communities to
to kick off October as DVAM and break the silence.

SILENT WITNESS
Remember their story... Honor their names
The Silent Witness Exhibit is a national initiative to honor
the lives of those who were lost to relationship violence.
Each silhouette represents the life of a young person whose life was cut short by a current or former dating partner or spouse. And, each bears a shield that tells their story.
In observance of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, this special exhibit, sponsored by BLOOM365 in collaboration with schools and community organizations, tells the story of teens and young adults tragically lost to a preventable act of relationship violence. Together, we can #UprootAbuse in a generation.
