As each day passes with limited social interaction, isolation will become a real truth for many teens. For teens who are exposed to domestic violence at home or who experience verbal, emotional, or cyber abuse from a dating partner or peer, school closures could mean their safe place is gone. School is often an escape from abuse or violence at home, an opportunity to connect with a trusted adult, and a place to engage with supportive friends.
7- DOSE CURRICULUM
Preventing teen dating abuse before it starts will help to ensure relationships, homes, schools, and communities are healthy, safe and free of domestic abuse and sexual violence.
At bloom365, we take a collaborative and comprehensive public health approach to preventing teen dating abuse and sexual violence at the root causes. Through our 7-Dose education curricula, ongoing advocacy and youth-led activism, we change the social norms that support violence.
Our 7-Dose Curriculum has been moved to our online classroom and still covers all of the interactive, research based lessons. We offer this education to both teens and adults. Existing and new school partners are providing our Core Standards aligned course to their health education students through e-learning.
For parents, caregivers, interns, volunteers and community partners sessions are held the FIRST Tuesday and Thursday of each month through December 2020 from 9am to Noon via Adobe Connect.

PEER SUPPORT GROUPS
The support groups we offer help to reduce the isolation of victimization by connecting young survivors with other young survivors who can share and support each other.
Our peer-guided group counseling follows a psycho-educational model, providing education on topics suggested by teen peer advocates to enhance healing, safety, self-care, coping and self-esteem.
Our weekly peer to peer support groups have been moved online during COIVD-19 and are available for youth 13-24 years old.
VIRTUAL PEER ADVOCATE CREW
V-PAC is a teen dating abuse/sexual violence prevention project that activates the power of peer connections and peer influence to change unhealthy norms and cultivate a culture of empathy, respect, and consent in GenZ. Peer advocates work together to increase help-seeking behaviors and collaborate with trusted adult allies to remove the barriers to safety, healing and hope for young survivors of abuse and violence.
BLOOM365 Peer Advocates are a passionate group of high school and college student volunteers who activate their social influence to lead the change to #UprootAbuse in a generation. They plan and promote four bloom365 "First Friday" outreach campaigns a year.
Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the Month.
TRUSTED ADULT ALLY CERTIFICATION
The BLOOM365 Trusted Adult Ally training was created in response to the need for teens to have adults that know how to recognize and respond to interpersonal violence (teen dating abuse, sexual violence, domestic violence) and have resources to provide support and remove barriers to help.
Our 16-hour training is now offered online through a series of three, 3-hour live sessions and on-demand self paced courses. Upon completion of the training, you will be a certified BLOOM365 Trusted Adult Ally and ready to support the youth in your community.
